Widmer, 62, of Forest Grove, Ore., died Feb. 12, 2001 at his home of pancreatic cancer.      A celebration of life service was held for family and friends Sunday, Feb. 18 at the Homestead Community Center in Forest Grove, Ore. According to his wishes, cremation ashes will be scattered at sea.

Melissa Lanferman, 20, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 1 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke?s Hospital in Chicago. She was the daughter of John and Judy Lanferman of Rome. Funeral arrangements are pending at Weir Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.

Richard Michael ?Dick? Huston, 68, of Beaufort, S.C., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001 in Jacksonville, Fla.      The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 2 at the Beaufort National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Richard Huston?s name to Iowa Wesleyan College. Clay Funeral Home in Green Cove Springs, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.

Weir Funeral Home has received word of the death of Richard M. Huston of Jacksonville, Fla. Formerly of Olds and the brother of Dorothy Keith of Mt. Pleasant, Huston was retired from the United States Marine Corps. Funeral arrangements are pending in Jacksonville.
