James M. Blythe, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Knoxville. The graveside service and burial will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at Oakland Mills Cemetery with Fr. Wayne Kamm officiating. There will be no visitation at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.

Kenneth Keylon Krenz, 59, of Lone Tree, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree, with Carol Kaalberg officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

Callen Dwight ?Cal? Carson, 45, of Mt. Pleasant, died suddenly on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at the Henry County Health Center. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, in the lower level of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant with Dr. Ed Peterson officiating. Visitation will be after noon on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m.
