DES MOINES - Wayne Lynn McCracken, 50, of Des Moines, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, of complications of diabetes at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.      Funeral services were held today, at the Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines. WAYLAND - Donald "Don" Swartzendruber, 64, of Wayland, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.      Funeral services were held today at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Marc Hershberger officiating. Burial was in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Beatty Funeral Home of Wayland was in charge of the arrangements.

WELLMAN - Dennis (Denny) Dean Bohrofen, 77, of Wellman, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a lengthy illness.      A graveside service will be held at a later date in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Keota. There will be no visitation. A general memorial fund has been established. The Powell Funeral Home of Wellman is in charge of the arrangements.

Maude M. Boecker, 85, of New London, died at 9:34 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Henry County Health Center, of an apparent heart attack.      Her body has been cremated.
