David Leigh Armstrong, 93, of Iowa City, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at the Iowa City Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, following a brief illness.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the George L. Gay Funeral Home in Iowa City, with the Rev. Bruce Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service Saturday.
