Bobby Gene Bryan, 62, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at his home after a long illness.      The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Lester Vaught Smith, 83, of Fort Madison and previously of Burlington and Denmark, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.      The family inurnment of the cremains will be at a later date in the Edwards Cemetery in Oakville. Emily Griebel, 99, of Sargent, Neb., died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Sandhills Manor Nursing Home in Broken Bow, Neb.Funeral services were held Jan. 2, 2001, at the Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, Neb., with the Rev. Don Schauda officiating. Burial was in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Sargent High School Scholarship Fund.

Agnes J. Russell, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 9:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center of Farmington, Mo.      The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Weir Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Jeffrey Crawford of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Visitation with the family present will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
