Dora Lukavsky, 83, of Riverside, died Thursday, July 20, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following an extended illness.Funeral services were held today in Riverside, with burial in the Riverside Public Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established. Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Jane Plett, 87, of Cotter, died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at the UP Home in Washington, following an extended illness.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cambrian Cemetery.
