(Anna) Jeannette Masonholder, 80, of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, at the Colonial Manor Care Center in Columbus Junction.      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with family present. A memorial has been established

Verle I. Gallagher, 97, of Washington, died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, at Halcyon House in Washington, following a lengthy illness.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at the United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Robert Bell and the Rev. Everett K. Burham officiating.

Jeremy James Fulk, 21, of New London and stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif., died August 1, 2000, in a training accident in California. Arrangements are pending at Elliott Chapel, New London.

Binnie Lou Brush, formerly of Ainsworth, died in a hiking accident in Abiquiu, New Mexico, June 19, 2000.      A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Oakwood United Methodist Church in Pleasant Hill.

Richard Longer, 78, of Washington, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at his home, following a lengthy illness.A memorial service for Mr. Longer and his wife, Grace (Tavy) Longer, who died June 4, 1995, at age 80, will take place at the Sylvia Longer Home, 119 West Harrison Street, Washington, at 1:30 p.m.

Susan Elizabeth McDowell, 44, of Hampton, Ill., and formerly of Washington, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, Ill.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 27, at Homewood Evangelical Free Church in Rock Island, with the Rev. Richard Kraft officiating.

Pauline Marie Payne, 72, of Winfield, died Thursday, July 27, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 31, at the Winfield First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Todd Smith and the Rev. Kevin Jennings officiating.

Eunice Stagner Meer, 83, of Kalona, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Kalona United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Orthel officiating.

RAMSEY, Minn. ? Leo J. Anderson, 63, of Ramsey, Minn., died July 21, 2000.A Mass of the Resurrection was held Monday in Blaine, Minn., with burial in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery to take place Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to the Nature Conservancy or the American Cancer Society.

Margaret K. Svoboda Scroggins, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. James Blockinger officiating.
