The fune?Vernon Wyse, 82, of Parkview Home, Wayland, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at Parkview Home.The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Bethel Mennonite Church. Burial will be in Bethel Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Bethel Mennonite Church with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to Parkview Home or Crooked Creek Camp.A

Veronica E. Durst, 85, of Washington died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at the Washington County Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Leilla Kennedy, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at her home after an extended illness.The memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Beatty Funeral Homes in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Monte Knudsen, pastor of the Faith Christian Outreach Church, officiating. Friends may sign the register or leave a memorial in her memory to Crossroads Hospice of Henry County from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beverly Ann Davis, 67, of Plains, Kan., died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Via Chrisi St. Francis Medical Center, Wichita, Kan., after suffering a massive stroke a week before.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the United Methodist Church in Plains with the Rev. Darrin Richard Powell, 34, of Mt. Pleasant died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Henry County Health Center, Mt. Pleasant.His body has been cremated with burial of his remains at Burbank, Calif.
