James E. Jones Sr., 88, of Mt. Pleasant died at 2:13 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 1999, at Henry County Health Center.The funeral service and interment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 28, at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with family present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Harold O. Carter, 82, of Eureka Springs, Ark., formerly of Burlington, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at his home after a lengthy illness.Nelson Funeral Home of Eureka Springs is in charge of cremation.
