Mad Science at Fairfield Public Library

Last bluegrass jam set
The final bluegrass music jam session of the season is set from 6:30-10 p.m. Saturday at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center.Pickers, singers and spectators are invited.Acoustic instruments are allowed.Snacks and coffee will be available.Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to help offset expenses of the event.The bluegrass music jams are scheduled to begin again in November.

Hunter education class offered
The Southeast Iowa Skeet Club is offering hunter education safety classes March 19, 21 and 23 at the club.Attendance of all three sessions is required.
