Winter is melting away
The snow was almost completely melted at Saunders Park where just a couple of weeks ago students were taking advantage of the last few days of winter vacation and sledding down the hill behind the bridge.

Washing away winter
Mt. Pleasant residents took advantage of the spring-like temperatures on Monday, Jan. 22, by lining up at area car washes in order to scrub away every last remnant of winter. The weather would not last however. Temperatures began to drop later in the afternoon and by Tuesday morning, residents woke up to near freezing temperatures and a quick snow flurry.
