Two vehicle vs. deer accidents reported
A pair of vehicle-deer accidents were investigated last week by Henry County Sheriff's deputies.The first accident was Oct. 25 when Kelly Bailey, Winfield, reported that she struck a deer while driving a 2015 Kia. Rome woman arrested, charged with two offenses
A Rome woman was arrested Oct. 27 following an alleged assault in the 100 block of East Market Street in Rome.Kristina Carver, 28, was charged with fifth-degree criminal mischief and simple assault, both simple misdemeanors.A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Mt. Police investigate another hit-and-run accident
There has been a rash of hit-and-run accidents in the past month in Mt.
