SUV strikes deer
A vehicle-deer accident Sept. 9 caused $8,000 damage to a 2005 GMC Yukon.According to the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Stephen Keith Johnson of Alburnett, was traveling north on U.S. Highway 218 near the intersection of Highway 218 and 287th Street. A deer ran in front of the vehicle causing the Yukon to strike the deer in the grill area.No injuries were reported.

Iowa incomes rose last year
