Pleasant?s Police Department received a report Sept. 5 of a scam.The victim said someone identifying himself as an employee with a utilities department advised the victim that service was going to be shut down.During the conversation, the victim provided his name, date of birth, Social Security number and a credit card number to the scammers. Truck strikes parked vehicle in MP
Mt. Pleasant policemen responded to an accident Aug. 31 in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street.The accident report relates that a 2009 Chevrolet truck, operated by David Felton, was traveling northbound. Felton made an illegal U-turn and struck a legally parked 2004 Dodge truck owned by Joan Rowland.Total damage was estimated at $1,500.
