Arson at E3 Center
The E3 Center, located on East Washington Street was set on fire last night.According to a press release from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, at approximately 10:22 p.m., Monday night the Mt. Pleasant Police Department was dispatched to the E3 Center for a fire with people being evacuated. Dry weather means progress on North Iris Street project
Mt. Pleasant experienced largely a rain-free week last week. That is good for street construction.Because of the dry weather, there was considerable progress on the North Iris Street project last week. With continued favorable weather, Warner Engineering Associates, Inc. of Mt. Long wait
For the first time since April, the paving crew was back this week pouring pavement south of the Walmart Distribution Center driveway. Crews had hoped to begin paving weeks ago. However, wet weather in late June and earlier this month caused the construction crews to miss considerable work.
