Street committee meets Wednesday
Members of the Mt. Pleasant City Council?s Street Committee will receive updates on ongoing street projects and the North Iris Street project during their meeting Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 5:45 p.m. in the City Administrator?s office at City Hall.Other tentative agenda items include discussion of a request from Van Allen School and the Jefferson Street STP application for fiscal year ending 2018.

HCHC says, 'Take a stroll to school Wednesday for walk to school day'
Healthy Henry County Communities (HHCC) has taken the lead to organize a celebration of walking or biking to school on Wednesday. Each of the elementary schools in the Mt.
