Dance, play Bingo in Polishville
Polishville Community Center has announced its June events.A free 60th anniversary dance for Dan and Hazel Greiner is scheduled for Sunday, June 2. Music will be provided by the Goodman/Anders Band of North English and Newhall. Weigert named to dean?s list
Shaylee Weigert from Mt Pleasant was named to Buena Vista University?s Graduate and Professional Studies dean?s list for terms three and four.Students named to the dean?s list must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the two terms, based on a 4.0 grade point system, and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.Weigert attends Buena Vista University Graduate and Professional Studies online.

Campgrounds now open
The South Shore campground at Oakland Mills and Water Works Park are now open, according to the Henry County Conservation Department.Sixteen camping sites are available at South Shore.Campground hosts are in place at both campgrounds to assist with registration and camping needs.
