Slippery road conditions lead to accident
On Nov. 13, 2014, at approximately 5:41 p.m., the Mt. Pleasant Police Department responded to a report of a single vehicle accident with injury. The accident occurred in the 200 block of N. Wilson St., according to police reports.Brent Keaster, of Mt. Pleasant, was driving his 2003 Ford Ranger northbound on Grand Ave., approaching the overpass, when he lost control of the vehicle due to slippery road conditions....

Mt. Pleasant?s High School Drama Department will present ?Lizzie Borden of Fall River? at 7 p.m. tonight (Fri.) and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Civic Center auditorium. Supervisors meet Monday
Due to the observance of Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11, the Henry County supervisors moved their meeting to Monday, Nov. 10, at 9 a.m. in the Henry County Courthouse.Henry County Engineer Jake Hotchkiss will give his weekly report and the supervisors will canvass the Nov. 4 general election.Supervisors will also be at the ISAC meetings on Thursday so will meet just Monday next week.

Pekin boys, girls hit the ground running at Lake Keomah
