Public safety committee plans meeting
Members of Mt. Pleasant City Council?s Public Safety Committee will meet tomorrow (Wed.) at 8:30 a.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Police Department.Tentative agenda items include discussion of the fire department?s standard operation guidelines and discussion of a bike-sharing program with the police department.

National Register
The Holtcamp Round Barn is one of the structures from Henry County on the National Register. The barn was built in 1917 and is located on 335th Street, one-half mile east of Highway 218/27 in Salem Township.

Plan approved
A site plan was approved by the Mt. Pleasant City Council Wednesday night for the speculative building located in the city?s Crossroads Industrial Park on the northeast edge of Mt. Pleasant. Negotiations are under way to sell the building to a local developer who then will lease space to a local manufacturer for storage.
