Absentee ballots for the Aug. 2 supervisor districting referendum will be available Monday, June 27, according to the Henry County Auditor?s Office.Those wishing to vote absentee may do so at the county auditor?s office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Teen injured in ATV accident
A Wayland teen was injured in an ATV accident in Jefferson Township April 17, according to the Henry County Sheriff?s office.Matthew W. Hannan, 19, Wayland, was operating a 2010 Honda Rancher ATV on private property and climbing a hill when the unit began to flip over backwards.Hannan jumped clear of the unit only to be struck by the unit once it rolled down the hall. Sheriff reports motorists ?Buckling up? in Henry County
On March 14, the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, in conjunction with the Iowa Governor?s Traffic Safety Bureau grant, conducted two seatbelt surveys.One survey was conducted west of exit 229 on Highway 34 west of Mt.
