MidAmerican says Iowa wind turbine will be nation?s tallest
DES MOINES (AP) ? MidAmerican Energy says a wind turbine being built in southern Iowa will be the nation?s tallest. Ottumwa murder trial delayed until November
OTTUMWA (AP) ? A murder trial has been delayed for a 31-year-old man accused of fatally beating another man outside a bar in Ottumwa. The trial is scheduled to begin Nov. 3 for Kendrick Jackson. It had been set to begin Oct. 6. Jackson is accused of beating Maekele Hagos outside The Elbow Room on Sept. 7 last year. Authorities say Hagos died later at a hospital in Iowa City.
