Gary and Carole Lauger celebrating 50th anniversary
Gary and Carole Lauger, of Swedesburg, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Sept. 7.They are the parents of Timothy (Leilani) Lauger, of Riverside, Ill., and grandparents of Lucas and Natalie.The Laugers began their celebration with a voyage to the Northern Isles on the Koningsdam, which included the Netherlands, Scotland, Iceland and Norway among the destinations.

Dover Museum gets a new look
The Dover Museum in New London received an exterior update over the summer.
