Betty J. Clubb Hammes Conkity was born August 4, 1926 near Harper, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Edna (Fixmer) Clubb. On August 19, 1944 Betty was united in marriage to Leon F. Hammes. Leon died in 1972. On August 12, 1977 Betty was united in marriage to Omar Conkity. Betty, 91, died on Monday, January 29, 2018, at her home in rural Harper.
