Pamela Hillard, Seattle, WA, beloved wife of Ben Hillard, formerly of New London, IA, passed away on January 30, 2023. Pam was born in Detroit, MI on January 25, 1945 to parents Michael and Roselyn Stocker.

Pam was raised in Los Angeles, CA were she was a 1966 college graduate from U.C. Berkley. In 1978 she began teaching school where she met Ben. They were married on May 6, 1983. They traveled to London, England and taught school for the years of 1985-1986. In 1987 Pam was hired to become Head of Health Curriculum of Seattle Schools where she retired in 2010.

Survivors include her husband Ben, daughter Chloe Anderson, two grandchildren, Zella Rae and Max Anderson, all of Seattle; stepsons Derek (Sarah) Hillard and Todd Hillard, Portland, OR; two stepgrandchildren, Sophia and Stella Hillard, Manhattan, KS; sister-in-law Roberta Ball, Mt. Pleasant, formally of New London; and brother-in law-Marvin (Cecelia) Hillard, Phoenix, AZ.

Pam was predeceased by her parents, one sister and one stepson, Marquis Hillard.

Cremation was accorded to her wishes and a private family service to be held at a later date.
