Pamela R. Johnson-Conder, 49, of Bloomfield, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at Ridgewood Specialty Care Center in Ottumwa.
Pam was born Aug. 6, 1970, in Fairfield, the daughter of Raymond and Karee Briden Johnson. She graduated from Van Buren High School with the Class of 1988. She was on the honor society and went on to Ottumwa Beauty Academy. Pam was united in marriage to Chuck Conder in October 1999. They later divorced. Pam worked at Yolanda's Beauty Shop in Fairfield, at the drive-in and later at the Co-Ed in Fairfield. She later went on to further her education and became a certified nursing assistant and a med aid. She worked at Bloomfield Care Center and ran the beauty shop. She loved cooking and canning all kinds of vegetables. Pam was a San Francisco 49ers fan and Iowa Hawkeyes fan.
Pam is survived by her mother, Karee of Birmingham; and her brother, Phil Johnson of Fort Madison.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Fairfield Eagles Club, 1707 S. Main St. Private family burial will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham. Memorials may be directed to the Animal Humane Society in her memory.
