Pam was born January 25, 1959, to Frank and Lois (Rosenbaum) Slocum. She married Larry Mitchell December 8, 1990, celebrating 30 years of marriage this last year.
Pam worked at Fairfield High School almost 30 years. She loved the kids, coaches, teachers, games and being with people. Pam enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden and flower beds. She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa Hawkeye games together with her husband Larry.
Pam enjoyed visiting family, cooking and listening to 70's music. Her very favorite was visiting Alyssa, who lives in the Kansas City Metro.
Her pets (dog and cat) brought her great joy. She also had a fish aquarium that she found relaxing. Pam had a heart of gold and would always put the need of others before herself.
Pam is survived by her husband, Larry of Batavia; her daughter, Alyssa Moore and husband Jeremiah Biggs; stepgrandson, Tristan Biggs; sisters, Pat Rippey and Penny Underdahl; brother, Brian (Barb) Slocum, two sisters-in-laws, Mary (Dan) Horton and Donna (Steve) Yeager; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lois; and her brothers, Bruce and infant brother Rodney.
