Patricia Ann Bennett, 74,

of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, in Washington.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at St. James Catholic Church, with Fr. Bernie Weir officiating. Calling hours will begin noon Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to

7 p.m. Prayer services will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at

the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the Keota Cemetery in Keota, Iowa.

Patricia was born March 5, 1945, in Washington, the daughter of Darryl and Ella (Monaghan) Burham. She graduated from Washington High School in 1963. Pat was united in marriage to Gary Bennett on March 9, 1963, in Washington.

Pat worked at Pamida Discount Store in Washington for 30 years until her retirement in 2007. She had previously worked at Fern's Bakery and Ben Franklin. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards and having coffee and visiting with friends.

She is survived by daughter, Kiturah "Kitty" Brooks and husband Tracy of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; daughter, Kathryn "Kate" Deao and husband Jim Jr. of Washington, Iowa; son, Joe Bennett and wife Sheri of Washington, Iowa; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Barb Letts and husband Darold of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; sister-in-law, Connie Cheney of Washington, Iowa; brother-in-law, Relden Jarrard of Washington, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary, in 1998; an infant brother, John Oscar Burham; and two infant grandchildren, Elizabeth and Andrew.
