Patricia Davisson, 87, of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, at Parkview Care Center. Open visitation will start 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with family present from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Behner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 2,

at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Steve Pfeifer officiating. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association and mailed to Diane Davisson, 101 E. Division, Richland, IA 52585.

Patricia was born Dec. 5, 1932, in Jefferson County to Clarence Gilbert and Dorothy Stoner. She married Darrell Lee Davisson on Nov. 6, 1950. Darrell passed away April 22, 1984.

Patricia loved being outdoors working in her garden and flowers. As a child, she had a horse and her interest in horses continued throughout her life. Patricia was a Chicago Cubs fan, but enjoyed most walking to OB Nelson Park and watching Brian and his team play slow pitch. While her kids and grandkids were in school, she attended their games, concerts and any of their other curricular activities. She also enjoyed watching old westerns.

Patricia will be missed by her children, Sue Ann (John) Robinson, Diane Kay (Gene) Davisson– Reed and Brian Darrell (Sandy) Davisson; nine grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Ronald (Shirley) Louth of Birmingham; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy; husband, Darrell; daughter, Carol Marie Hootman; great-grandchild, Ethan Davisson; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Richard Louth.
