Patricia Eileen Simon
Patricia Eileen Simon, was born April 2, 1934, near Holbrook, the daughter of Pete and Elizabeth Duffy Kelly. She grew up in Parnell, where she graduated from Parnell High School. After attending Ottumwa Heights College she moved to Riverside where she taught elementary school for a number of years. Patricia was united in marriage to Paul K. Simon on Nov. 5, 1955, at St. Joseph's Church in Parnell. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Patricia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside and a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Patricia died on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006 at the Atrium Village in Hills, after an extended illness at the age of 72 years.
