Patricia Anne Gordy, 82,

of Bloomfield, Iowa, passed away Nov. 9, 2020 at her home.

She was born April 14, 1938, in Akron, Iowa, to

Elmer and Ruby Mattice Boom. She graduated from Van Horne High School in Van Horne, Iowa. On Nov. 4, 1957, she married Ronald Dean Gordy in Vinton, Iowa. He passed away on Aug. 22, 2010.

Anne was a nature lover. She enjoyed watching birds, planting roses and tending to her roses and collecting angels. Spending time with her children and grandchildren were very important to her. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by five children, Charles Gordy of Bloomfield, Curt Gordy of Harrison, Ark., Steve (Tammy) Gordy of Ottumwa, Iowa, Dave Gordy of Bloomfield and Linda (Brandon) Rodibaugh of Libertyville, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Tom and Bud Walker; and a sister, Elaine Butler.
