Patricia L. Hirt, 67, of Riverside, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019, at the Halcyon Rosewood House in Washington. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside. Burial will be in the Riverside Public Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Patricia Lynn Burich was born on November 5, 1951, in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Dale and Margaret (Arndt) Burich. She was a graduate of Highland High School. On April 8, 1972, Patricia was united in marriage to Daryl Hirt in the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Patricia worked for the University of Iowa in the Lindquist Department and later was the Librarian at the Riverside Elementary School. She enjoyed having lunch with co-workers, playing games, watching the Cubs and Hawkeyes and Christmas, but most of all, Patricia loved to watch her grandchildren's sporting events.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her husband, Daryl of Riverside; her children, Darcy (Ryan) Burton of Riverside and Amy (Josh) Thomann of Riverside; eight grandchildren, Bill, Dan, Brody, Sarah, Alyson, Colby, Tristan and Katelyn; siblings, Barb Fountain of Mt. Pleasant, John (Becky) Burich of North Liberty and Vicki (Paul) Johnson of Mt. Pleasant and special great aunt, Darlene Burich of Mt. Pleasant.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Pat Fountain and uncle, Cleo Burich.
