Patricia Kay Horan was born October 14, 1965, in Beloit, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Fisher) Kutzke. Patti graduated from Clinton High School in 1984, and went on to receive her Masters degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. On August 10, 2010, Patti was united in marriage to Nicholas Richard Horan in Waterloo, Iowa. She was a sales manager for many years. Patti enjoyed many artistic endeavors and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Patti died on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at her home near North English, at the age of 60 years.

She is survived by her husband Nick of North English; seven children, Nicholette (Jamie), Holly (JP), Lauren, Luke (Charlotte), Jacob (Courtney), Andrew (Brooks) and Cole; grandchildren Elliott, Naya, Owen, Asher, Jackson and Maui; and two sisters, Beth and Gail. She was preceded by her parents.

God has a special angel to help with all the children and animals in Heaven, her name is Patti.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date. Powell Funeral Home in North English is caring for Patti and her family. Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her honor. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
