Patricia Ann Lane, 87, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at Greenfield Rehabilitation.

She was born April 1, 1932, to D.C. and Martell (Ringberg) Ossian in Creston, Iowa. Patricia graduated from Creston High School in 1950. She worked for Horace Mann Insurance in Des Moines for one year before moving back to Creston, where she worked for L.O. Boggs Wholesale for a year.

Patricia was united in marriage to Ralph C. Lane of Greenfield on June 7, 1952, at Salem Lutheran Church in Creston. To this union three children were born, Ronald, Peggy and Leroy. She had a stepson, Gary.

They made their home on a farm for a few years in the Greenfield and Fontanelle area. They moved to Fairfield, where they lived for five years. They then moved to Muscatine. Five years later, they returned to Fairfield, where they resided for another 23 years before retiring.

They lived in RVs and traveled for 20 years, spending winters in Arizona and Texas. In late December 2000, they returned to Greenfield and settled in the Maple Village area.

Patricia enjoyed camping and traveling, including several trips to Canada and Mexico, visiting many friends and relatives, including children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
