Patricia (Pat) was born to William Carleton and Irene (Helscher) Richardson on May 28, 1929. She died on February 25, 2024 at Serenity House Hospice in Tomah, WI, former resident of Agape Acres in Warrens, WI. She attended Keota (Iowa) schools through high school, graduated in 1946 then attended Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, IA. There she met her husband, Norman Renaud and they were married in 1948. They had four children, Dianne (Bob) Look of Rothschild, WI, George (Karalyn) Renaud of Tomah, WI, Denise (Bob) Preston of Keota, IA and Anthony (Corrinna) Renaud, formerly of Phoenix, AZ. She had 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She enjoyed working as a teacher’s assistant for many years and was also active in banking. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, loved working with rescued animals and had a fond heart for veteran issues. She was a member of D.A.R, P.E.O. and Fortnightly Club. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, daughter Dianne and son Anthony.

The causes closest to her heart were books (Wilson Memorial Library in Keota), Paws and More Animal Shelter in Washington, IA, Tunnels to Towers and Serenity House Hospice in Tomah, WI.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, 10:00 AM at Bible Ev. Free Church, 625 W. Veterans Street, Tomah. Pastor Neil Nelson will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Saturday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
