Patty "Pat" Miller of Batavia, 76, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, at Sunnybrook Living Care Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be

10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Clark officiating. After the service burial will be at Batavia Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus or memorial of your choice. Cards and memorials may be mailed to Cindy Rinaberger, 1517 Lone Oak Circle, Fairfield, IA 52556.

Pat was born April 1, 1943, in Ottumwa, to William and Luella (White) Piersol. She married Carroll "Dean" Miller on Sept. 5, 1959.

Pat lived most of her life in the Batavia area. After marrying Dean, she was a homemaker and helped him with the farm. When not helping Dean, she enjoyed gardening, planting spring flowers, cooking and baking. Pat was very fond of caring for her farm cats and at one time, raised Old English Sheep dogs. Most important to her was spending time with family and grandchildren.

She will be missed by her husband of 60 years, Dean Miller; her children, Cindy (Mark) Rinaberger of Fairfield and Marty (Tracie) Miller of Batavia; four grandchildren, Brenna Rinaberger, Cameron Rinaberger and Ariel Rinaberger, all of Fairfield and Morgan Miller of Batavia; one great-granddaughter, Violet Yeager; and sister, Judy Wardlow of Agency, Iowa.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, William and Luella.
