Paul A. Forbes

CEDAR RAPIDS ? Paul Arthur Forbes, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, in Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha.

A celebration of life was held, Friday, Oct. 21, at Vito?s in Cedar Rapids, following visitation earlier that evening at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Forbes was born Dec. 6, 1953, in Fairfield, the son of Lester and Louise (Peck) Forbes.

He graduated from St. Ambrose University with a bachelor?s degree in economics. He worked for Hewlett-Packard for many years as a technical analyst. He loved spending time in his wildflower garden and studying his family genealogy. He was an avid Hawkeye football fan. He loved to travel and capture the world through photography.

Surviving are two daughters, Chelsea Archibald and husband Rob, and Cassi Forbes; three granddaughters; his mother; and seven siblings, Eileen Forbes, Mary Ellen Forbes, Doug Forbes, Steve Forbes, Rich Forbes, John Forbes, and Angela Bussey.

He was preceded in death by his father.
