Paul Stuekerjuergen

Paul H. Stuekerjuergen, 70, of West Point, died at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point wih Fr. Thomas Parlette officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at Link Funeral Home in West Point with a rosary being recited at 3 p.m. and a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Memorials have been established to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Marquette Athletic Department.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Greg and his wife Doris Stuekerjuergen, Brad and his wife Bonny Stuekerjuergen, and Dennis and his wife Traci Stuekerjuergen, all of West Point, and Kevin and his wife Tami Stuekerjuergen of Fort Madison; two daughters, Paula and her husband Mark Spiekermeier of West Point, and Christy and her husband Jack Powell of Fort Madison; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Stuekerjuergen of West Point; and three sisters, Mary Klesner of West Point, Betty Overton of Mt. Pleasant, and Phyllis Frey of Niota, Ill.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Amy (March 24, 1982); and two brothers, Don and Jim.
