Paul Welcher
Paul Welcher, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at the Park Place Home in Mt. Pleasant.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 12 noon on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Olson~Powell Memorial Chapel. A Christian Vigil Service will be held that evening at 6:30 p.m. at the memorial chapel after which family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m. Memorials have been established to the St. Alphonsus Building Fund Phase II and the Park Place Activity Fund.
