Paula M. Wagner, 62, of Winfield passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at her home.

She was born on October 29, 1959, in Iowa City the daughter of Roswell W. and Paulena (Dvorak) Wixom, Sr. Paula was united in marriage to Ronald Wagner on September 26, 1991. Paula had various jobs such as a bartender at the Lantern Lounge, Metromail, the Iris Restaurant and was a home health aide. Sher enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.

Paula is survived by her husband, Ron of Winfield, her children, Jeff Wixom of Mt. Pleasant, George Gaylord of Mt. Pleasant, Sam Gaylord of Winfield , Jennifer Schwartz of New London, Brad Yurgl of Oswego, Illinois, Eric Wagner of Lisle, Illinois, Andrew Wagner of Warrenville, Illinois, 17 grandchildren, one brother, Bill Wixom of Salem and two sisters, Peggy Cox Stuppio of Tyrone, Pennsylvania and Mary Jorgensen of Sparta, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister in infancy, Carla Sue Wixom.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Rick Brecht officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem South Cemetery. Following the graveside service the family invites everyone to the Mt. Pleasant Moose Lodge for a time of food and fellowship.
