Pauline Boughner

RICHLAND ? Pauline Pearl Boughner, 92, of Richland died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 3, at Friends Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Schoepf officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at 1 p.m. at Gould Funeral Home in Richland before moving to the cemetery. Memorials for the Richland United Methodist Church or the donor?s choice may be left at the funeral home or the cemetery service, or be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 213, Richland, IA 52585.

Mrs. Boughner was born June 11, 1924, in Fairfield, the daughter of Henry William and Florence Elizabeth Isabelle (Kirchner) Schiedel. She married William Edward Boughner on Sept. 27, 1944.

She attended Fairfield schools. She was a homemaker but worked at the Fairfield Glove Factory for a short time.

Surviving are five sons, Charles Boughner and wife Lana of Kellogg, Bill Boughner and wife Diana of Fairfield, Robert Boughner and wife Jane of Albany, Oregon, John Boughner of Richland, and Mike Boughner and wife Julie of Centerville; one daughter, Linda Pech and husband Richard of Fairfield; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, on July 7, 1985; one grandson; one daughter-in-law, Carol Boughner; and one brother, Howard Schiedel.
