Pauline Peters Breneman

Pauline Peters Breneman, 100, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Colonial Manor Care Center.

The Celebration of Life for Pauline will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the American Legion in Columbus Junction. Burial will be at a later date in Columbus City Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home for the Cotter Presbyterian Church in Pauline's name. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The daughter of Omrie and Effie Venice Peters, she was born November 16, 1916, raised in Cotter and graduated from Cotter School. After attending Beauty School in Burlington she married Gerald Breneman.

She is survived by her daughter Rita and her husband, Dennis Ballard of Columbia, Mo.; grandchildren, Mark in Columbia, Mo., Scott in Gainesville, Ga. and Carey in Girdwood, Alaska; and six great-grandchildren, Emma Pauline Ballard of St. Louis, Lindsay, Eric, Kelli Ann, Brandon and Danielle of Gainesville, Ga
