Pearl Beachy
KALONA ? Pearl Beachy, 94, of Kalona, formerly of Wayland, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery near Wayland at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church, where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home and Mennonite Disaster Service. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.
