Pearl Elizabeth Heise Van Winkle

DONNELLSON - Pearl Elizabeth Heise Van Winkle, 88, of rural Hillsboro, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, in the Park Place Long Term Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today in the Sharon Presbyterian Church near Farmington with the Rev. Daniel Hemken officiating. Burial was in the Sharon Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Sharon Presbyterian Church.

      Mrs. Van Winkle was born Oct. 2, 1919, near Bonaparte, the daughter of Edward William and Nora Elizabeth (Jesberg) Heise. She married Charles "Aulden" Van Winkle on Jan. 20, 1946 in Big Mound Methodist Church. He died July 8, 1994.
