Pearl Ione Green

      LONE TREE-Pearl Ione Green, 85, of Riverside, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at Parkview Care Center in Wellman, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree. Burial will be in Ainsworth Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 1 p.m. until the time of services, at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mrs. Green was born on July 5, 1918, in Doddridge, Ark., to Marion and Bell (Thomas) Cauthorn. On Nov. 27, 1943, she married Willard M. Mapel in Texarkana, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1954. She married Chester Green on April 4, 1964, in Iowa City.
