Peggy A. Lambert February 10, 1937 - April 1, 2004

Peggy Ann Lambert, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Thursday, April 1, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Hank Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Mills Cemetery. Visitation will begin after noon today at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Christamore House and the Oakland Mills Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Daryl and his wife Elizabeth Lambert and J.C. and his wife Tabitha Lambert, both of Mt. Pleasant, and John and his wife Sandy Lambert of Fort Madison; a daughter, Kelley and her husband John Whaley of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Charles and Robert of Vermont; five sisters, Nancy, Diane, Cathy and Debbie of Vermont, and Betty of Maryland; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Pearl and Sandy.
