Phil Zihlman
Phil Zihlman, 67, formerly of Brighton, died Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Clarinda Mental Health Institute in Clarinda.
His body has been cremated. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials have been established for the WACO School District Industrial Arts/Auto Shop and may be mailed to the family at 3304 Highway 78, Brighton, IA 52540. Arrangements have been in the care of Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.
He was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Washington, the son of Howard and Geneva Eyestone Zihlman. On Dec. 8, 1963, he married Thelma Vorhies in Germanville; they later divorced.
