Philip Ingmanson

      Philip Ingmanson, 99, of Park Place Care Center, formerly of the Swedesburg community, died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Park Place.

      The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 18, at 10:30, at the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Burial will follow at the Swedesburg Church Cemetery.

      Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. There will be no family visitation.

      Memorials have been established for the Swedesburg Lutheran Church and the Swedesburg Museum.

      Born June 6, 1906, on the family farm in Swedesburg, he was the son of Charles and Anna Hoffstedt Ingmanson. On Nov. 22, 1942, he married Ardith Larson at Swedesburg. She died May 7, 2000.
