Philip Vincent Pacha, 65,
of Springfield, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. He was born on October 14, 1955, in Davenport, IA, and shortly after adopted by Donald and Geraldine Pacha. He grew up on the family farm seven miles northeast of Fairfield, IA. Phil graduated from Fairfield High School in 1973, and Indian Hills Community College in 1990. After college, Phil worked for Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois until he retired in 2017.
Phil is survived by his brother, Mark Pacha (Rachel) of Omaha, NE; nephew, Jared Pacha of Omaha, NE; nieces, Erica Eiben of Marion, IA, Alyssa Eiben of Marion, IA, Erin Eiben of Anamosa, IA, and Brooke Pacha of Omaha, NE; and great-nephews, Atlas and August Eiben of Anamosa, IA.
Phil was proceeded in death by his parents, Donald and Geraldine Pacha of Fairfield, IA; sister, Rosemary Eiben of Central City, IA; and great-nephew, Alistair Eiben of Anamosa, IA.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fairfield, IA, with Father Nick Adam officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the St. Mary Catholic Church Facebook Page. A visitation will begin at
9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at St. Mary Church and last until the time of service. Private
burial will be held at the St. Joseph Church
