Phyllis Raye Foster

      Phyllis Raye Foster, 70, of rural Lockridge died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at her home.

      Visitation for Mrs. Foster will begin after noon Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dianne Brokken officiating. Burial will be in the New Sweden Lutheran Cemetery near Lockridge. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the First Augustana Lutheran Church, Hospice of Central Iowa and the Lockridge First Responders.

      Born April 10, 1936, in Riner, Va., Mrs. Foster was the daughter of Harry and Winnie Reynolds Fark. July 4, 1954, she married Eugene Foster in Burnside, Ill. He survives.
