R. Hollis Lauderdale
WINFIELD - R. Hollis Lauderdale, 94, of Winfield died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, in Sunrise Terrace Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, in the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield with the Rev. William Morehouse officiating. Burial will be in the Conesville Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, where the family will be present. Memorials may be made to the Winfield Public Library and Sunrise Terrace Care Center.
Mr. Lauderdale was born Sept. 1, 1912, in Dale, Ind., the son of Jasper Renald and Minnie Jane (Lamar) Lauderdale. He married Winifred "Winnie" Whitaker on Oct. 23, 1937, in Brighton. She died Feb. 7, 2007.
